Mark and I were married on March 3rd, 2002, on Saint Thomas, USVI. We exchanged vows beneath palm trees, cut our cake amid the native iguanas, and cruised the Eastern Carribean for 10 days. The funny part is, we weren't sure there would be a wedding. The night before we arrived at Saint Thomas, the captain of the ship announced that we would be delayed. Couple that with the knowledge that we would have to go through customs on the ship before disembarking, and needless to say I was a bit frazzled. Luckily Drew, our officiant, watched for our ship and was awaiting us at port when we arrived. The purser's desk on the ship brought us to the front of the line for customs. The ceremony included the passage "On Marriage" from "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran. My mother always had a copy of The Prophet, and especially enjoyed reading this passage to me when I was young. In the end, I couldn't ask for a more memorable wedding day. |

I
will remember you Remember
the good times I
will remember you I'm
so tired but I can't sleep |
It's
funny how we feel so much But
I will remember you I'm
so afraid to love you, And
I will remember you |
