Dedicated to my Angel
est. October 17, 1997

This page is for the one I love, my angel, Mark!
We met on October 17, 1997, and every moment since then has been wonderful. He started out as a great friend, one I told pretty much everything to, and now things are only that much better, since we exchanged vows on March 3, 2002.

I love sharing every second with him, and will for the rest of my life! Noone has ever shown me so much love, compassion, devotion, gratitude, and strength in my life. To be so in love with a person - to the point where everything they do only makes you love them more, is amazing. So few find such true happiness, and I consider myself blessed to have found this happiness at such a young age.

Mark and I were married on March 3rd, 2002, on Saint Thomas, USVI. We exchanged vows beneath palm trees, cut our cake amid the native iguanas, and cruised the Eastern Carribean for 10 days.

The funny part is, we weren't sure there would be a wedding. The night before we arrived at Saint Thomas, the captain of the ship announced that we would be delayed. Couple that with the knowledge that we would have to go through customs on the ship before disembarking, and needless to say I was a bit frazzled.

Luckily Drew, our officiant, watched for our ship and was awaiting us at port when we arrived. The purser's desk on the ship brought us to the front of the line for customs.

The ceremony included the passage "On Marriage" from "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran. My mother always had a copy of The Prophet, and especially enjoyed reading this passage to me when I was young.

In the end, I couldn't ask for a more memorable wedding day.

"I Will Remember You"
by Sarah McLachlan

I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

Remember the good times
that we had?
I let them slip away from us
when things got bad
How clearly I first saw you
smilin' in the sun
Wanna feel your warmth upon me,
I wanna be the one

I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

I'm so tired but I can't sleep
Standin' on the edge of something
much too deep

It's funny how we feel so much
but we cannot say a word
We are screaming inside,
but we can't be heard

But I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories

I'm so afraid to love you,
but more afraid to lose
Clinging to a past that
doesn't let me choose
Once there was a darkness,
deep and endless night
You gave me everything you had,
oh you gave me light

And I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories
